From our dining room’s window we saw red white and blue light gleaming and illuminating across the sky, in between the silhouette of tall oak trees in our neighbors’ yard. We let the boys stayed up late to watch the firework spectacular. They enjoyed the show. Peanut was in awe with lots of ooh and ahh. It’s his first time watching the fireworks.

Unfortunately, I could not capture the glowing beauty of it all with my camera.

Happy Birthday, America!

    1. Somehow our town has the festival a day earlier. I think they don’t want to compete with the big fanfare at the state capitol right on the fourth.
