The snow storm turned out to be a small one, with about four to five inches where we live. Not bad at all! I thought it would snow throughout the day that would paralyze the roads, but nah, it was just a tease.
But I did not go anywhere today. It was hibernation at its best, which was fine with me!
I have an odd feeling around this time of the year. While it’s the time to be merry and cheery, but somehow the end of the year gives me a nostalgic feeling with some regrets. Not exactly the kind of regrets that I would think often once they pass their time, but the kind that make me wonder where my time went and how I spent it.
That’s the kind of odd feeling I am having right now. But rest assured, once the new year arrives and things are back to the orbit of the daily grind, I am sure this feeling will be gone.
Anyway, I am lagging behind in keeping the boys’ winter break photos updated. Here is another installment. Photos were from last week, while Mr. O was visiting his family in VA.
Toddler Tuesday at the Mall of America. Festive holidays activities for little kids! While PP really enjoyed all the fun things available, Mr. Grumpy Pants stood right there picking his boogers. He refused to participate. Gosh, I am telling you, forget about the much-talked-about terrible-two, this TERRIBLE THREE really gets on my nerves. I cannot wait for it to be over!
Meeting SpongeBob and Patrick.
And then there was Boots, but no Dora.
They love the LEGO play area so I let them spend an hour or two there.
PP built these two units himself. 😀
One early morning on a separate day we rushed out of the door after breakfast to catch the 10:20 a.m. show because morning viewing of movies cost only $5.75/person on weekdays.
Alvin and the Chipmunk — Road trip. How many installment of Alvin and Chipmunk are there? The producers really milk the lives of these fictional chipmunks, knowing that kids love it.
Apple store provided endless hours and comfortable seating for playing games.
Score another place to entertain the kids.
And then I let them went wild at the mall’s play yard amidst the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping frenzy.
My laptop is dying a slowly death. I better post this before it shuts off by itself!
