Breaking out from winter-long hibernation and all-gray monochrome of life, I am looking for the sign of spring. I need colors!
From my neighbor’s yard — A pair of yellow crocuses, rising above layered pile of rotten autumn leaves.
From my little garden — cluster of young green French sorrels found their time to appear after a few days of warm temperatures. The squirrels have been snacking on these because I found the other clusters have been nicely eaten.
My lilac leaf-buds…waiting for a few more warm days to sprout their green leaves.
