PP has been doing so well this week at school. No behavioral slips to take home, no “break times” and no reminders given from the teacher. He got off the bus every day with a wide smile and excitement that he couldn’t wait to tell us how well he behaved at school.
This afternoon when I picked him up at the bus stop, he held my hand and told me, Mẹ, I have grown up! Although it is still too early to gauge how long this streak of miracle will last but I am glad that he has his own self actualization that his actions and the consequences affect us all as a family.
Now I fear that when Mr. O is absent for the next two weeks, PP might have regressed into his challenging self again.
I could only hope for the better.
