Day 22 — one day at a time

I really don’t have much to write today except for the boring stuff that I have to take care for the move, mostly cleaning and reorganizing.

The realtor came over with a staging expert to survey the house then on Friday they will spruce up an aesthetically welcoming home for potential buyers. The expert said that it’s a good thing we are minimalists, which makes it easier for her to stage the house.

We have million things, big and small, on our plate to do. I am trying to take it one day at a time.

P.S. Last night after dinner PP came to me and hugged me and said, Mẹ, I am so happy and thankful that I have an Asian mom. I asked him why and he said that it’s because I have many cool things about my childhood that he cannot envision because we were born in two different countries and he cannot wait to visit Vietnam with me one day in the future to see where I actually came from.

P.S. 2 — I have been listening to This American Life podcast and loving it. Some of the most recent episodes had me laugh and cry. The one on school shooting was wrenching to me. That one made me cried. The one on applying to college made me laugh and touched the soft spot for me.
