Costco is a dangerous place. Dangerous for our money, that is.
We were there this morning to check out Apple Watch but ended up buying a Vitamix v1200 blender and its smart digital scale. I don’t want to think about the money that we spent because it would make me a bit regretful for such a big expense. I hope the returning values of having this blender will be bigger and better in the long run.
It’s all Mr. O’s fault. He was just saying hello to the woman who was doing the demonstration for the company and ended up staying for 15 minutes watching her working the magic of getting him persuaded to buy one.
And we walked out without getting the Apple Watch, of which I asked Mr. O to get one so he can get on with his fitness routine.
I think I have to stay away from Costco for the next two months or so. Last month I went there to get some snacks for the boys’ classes and ended up buying the Cuisinart food processor and an electric kettle. That place is the blackhole of temptation.
